what if...

These two words have propelled me into some of the most interesting and powerful conversations of my life.

And whenever this question is posed, something predictable happens: tension shows up.

I believe tension needs a rebrand.

In 25 years of this work, I’ve learned to see tension differently. It's not a problem to solve.  It's a blinking neon sign, showing us where growth is ready to happen next.

I’m most at home under that blinking, buzzing neon sign.

It’s my natural habitat.

And, it's where I am lucky enough to be of service.

TLDR: I’m an org designer, executive coach, and lifelong student of what helps people and organizations come alive. Read on for more about how I got here and why I am devoted to this work.

The Backstory

My work has always been about helping people and organizations move from where they are toward where they want to be.

I’m an executive leader turned organizational designer and executive coach, energized by the chaos and uncertainty that often precede breakthrough. Working at the intersection of people and process, I help clients see the connections between how they’re showing up, how their organizations are working, and what they’re trying to create.

Over 25 years, I’ve worked with leaders and organizations ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 and 500 companies, across a remarkably wide range of industries and contexts. The details are always different. But the underlying question is remarkably consistent: What's possible now?

I bring together organizational design, human-centered design, executive coaching, group facilitation, and a healthy dose of curiosity to help people see what they couldn’t see before—and then design for what comes next.

And there’s a deeper reason I care so much about this work. I want to offer the world something different.

I want to co-create workplaces that disrupt harm and invite possibility. Places where people can feel more alive, more connected, and more powerful—so that (you guessed it) we can all do the best work of our lives.

I believe people are capable of far more consciousness, creativity, connection, and possibility than most workplaces make space for. I believe work can be a place where we become more fully ourselves—not less. And I believe the systems we create together at work can either support who we’re all becoming, or can constrain it.

This work is personal for me. After twelve years as the Founder and Principal Consultant of (Re)Engage Consulting, I have reached another edge of my own.  I’m evolving. And so must my work. The Best Work of Our Lives is the next expression of that evolution.

I don’t believe our best work is reserved for one chapter of a career, a particular role, or even for a lucky few. I believe it’s something we can continually move toward—individually and together.  That’s the work I want to do now: help leaders become more conscious and creative than they ever imagined they could be, so they can do the best work of their lives!
